Neurotic Potpourri

If you told me a few months ago...hell, even a WEEK ago that I would be a blogger, I would have laughed you off!

Well, here I am...to eat my words, and to share some with you.

When I thought about what I would write about I was paralyzed. I have so many interests and so much to say. I also wondered if anyone would care to read what I have to say. Then I realized that even if NO-ONE came to visit, this is a great place to organize my thoughts and be a bit creative. Like a public journal for me to vent, share and misbehave.

My profession requires me to be available almost 24 hours a day. I am, from the deepest soul of my being, a very warm, compassionate, empathetic, and generous person. However, it is hard to be this way each and every day to each and every person. I have a bit of a dark side....

Sarcasm, for me, is the flavour of my humour. I think it is also a defense mechanism in a way. But I like my sense of humour and have found many others do as well. I recently started "Tweeting" on Twitter ( this is something else I never thought I would do) and realized that I have another, quite different voice from the Professional gal who is always sweet, positive and polite. That voice will be publishing this blog. Her name is Sugarwilla.

Sugarwilla? Well, I needed a name for my Twitter account. I joined because I knew there were Dave Matthews fans that I could connect with, as well as the Man himself. "Sugar Will" is my favorite Dave Matthews song. Sugarwill was taken, therefore Sugarwilla was born...

So, my Neurotic Potpourri will include thoughts on my very favorite things; my family, my friends, music, well being, self-discovery, power of thought & energy, books...some are intangible things, yet things I cannot imagine being without. Although I love my job, you will rarely hear me utter a word about it here.
